It’s no secret that we love our Canadian beef around here. Turns out, I’m not alone. According to a recent survey commissioned by Wendy’s, 92% of Canadian beef eaters think its very important to purchase Canadian beef.

  4. I live in a rural community surrounded by farms. I like to support them and eat fresh. I try to go organic when I can afford it.

  9. Eating local is very important to me. I think we all need to shop local, buy local and support local businesses! I love buying meat that is strictly Canadian.

  12. We eat local often shopping at farmers markets, getting sides of beef etc. Even our Co-Op has a great fresh veggie section that carries local food.

  22. Love supporting our local community... We live in a small town and the food in restaurants is so much better than in big city, The desserts are homemade in the restaurants and are to die for..yummy!!

  26. Eating local is important, I look forward to the Farmer's Market Season and stock up on farm fresh produce to freeze over winter. If I can't eat local I try to eat Ontario, and Canadian made items as much as possible

  36. Fairly important - we check the apples in the store to make sure they're not imported, and try to get things that are grown fairly close by.

  40. Very, very important. We have or own garden, are a member of a coop and shop at the local farmers market. When all things are considered, it's way cheaper to us and the world to shop this way.

  48. Is very important and always has been . More important to get and buy local so you know what is going in the food, and keeping nutrients in food a t a high rate. Also helps out your neighbors and your own towns when you put money into your area.
