Edo a Little, Help a Lot…and win!

December 6, 2016 By Fareen 21 Comments

Edo is once again making the holiday season Simply Better with their ‘Edo a Little, Help a Lot’ campaign.  Like last year, Edo will be supporting Canada food banks by donating 25 cents for every spring roll sold during the holiday season. Edo raised over $74,000 for food banks across the county last year – that’s a lot of spring rolls!

Edo Simply Better

This year, Edo Japan will be hosting ‘Double Up Day’ on December 10, doubling their donations for each spring roll sold. We love Edo and any excuse to eat there, I’ll take it!

Want to win a $25 gift card to Edo Japan? Keep it for yourself or use it as a stocking stuffer – it makes the perfect gift!

Leave a comment below and let me know how you make things Simply Better over the holiday season. Good luck!

Contest closes on December 15th at 11:59pm MST. Open to residents of Canada. Winner will have 48 hours to respond before a new winner is chosen.

I try and pick a different organization each holiday season to volunteer with! This makes giving and receiving simply better as it allows me to appreciate everything I have and also give back to the community.

I donate to different programs each year, The only problem is I only can afford a couple of them so I have to say no to the others.

As a family, we try to volunteer our time, or donate some items for the less fortunate during the holiday season. It teaches all of us to appreciate what we have, and to learn to give of ourselves.

Just enjoying each others company and giving handmade goodies make the holiday season simpler really . Knocks off alot of stress , much happier times. But also make ahead as much as you can .

I make things simply better by focusing on good times with family and friends instead of stressing over making everything perfect.

I get all my shopping done by the end of November so that in December I can just take it easy, do my baking, and enjoy the festivities.

I bake homemade goodies every weekend, which keeps the spirits up at home and also means I have some to take to work to share with my colleagues. It is a time to be festive and merry and what better way to show that than homemade treats and some good laughs.

We are trying the advent calendar this year, but with a twist, we are putting things together everyday to make a box to donate! Hopefully it works out! Thanks for the chance!

I make things simpler by focusing on my family and friends, we don't focus on gifts, but rather on food and good times together. We try to spend on experiences rather than on material things.

I make things Simply Better by slowing down, not getting caught up in a shopping frenzy and taking time to enjoy winter activities.

We invite family for Christmas dinner and and include friends who don't have some where to go for dinner and share the spirit of the holiday.

I try to make things Simply Better by really enjoying the time with my DD, and offering help to friends who might need it (babysitting, baking, wrapping, etc).
