Have you noticed that at parties, there is always fun drinks and cocktails for the drinkers but just a couple options for those not having alcohol? Let’s change that! This berry sangria is a great drink for any get together, to be enjoyed by all.
This is the perfect drink for the summer, while the berries are in abundance. I used some of everything but really, you can use whatever your favourites are. I like things bubbly and fizzy so to replace the wine, I used the sparkling pear drink from Ikea. It’s sweet and really delicious and pairs well with all the berries. If you can’t get your hands on this stuff, any sparkling apple juice will do.
This sangria is great because you can really add any fruit you want. Apples, oranges, plums and peaches, they would all taste pretty good. Use what’s in season and use what you love. You would never see me using mango (yuck), but if that’s what you love, add it!
This berry sangria is crisp and clean and perfect for a summer party hanging out on the deck or for a bbq with friends. Make a big batch because the kids are going to want to get on this as well!
