Crispy balls of fried goat cheese drizzled with sriracha honey makes the perfect little appetizer.
It’s no secret that we love cheese around here. But these little balls of fried cheese take it to a whole new level.
I’m always looking for fun appetizers to make. Although we can’t entertain right now, I’m prepared with a whole new set of recipes to make when we can start having people over again. Appetizers are my favourite – flavourful little bites.
Goat cheese is the cheese of choice for these fried goat cheese balls. The cheese is soft so it’s easy to roll into balls. I set up a dredging station to fry these babies up. Flour in the first bowl, an egg in the second and panko and cajun seasoning in the third. I season all the bowls with salt and pepper.
While the cheese if frying, I warm up the honey and then mix it with a few drops of Sriracha. I then drizzle the honey over top the fried cheese.
